I was born and raised in Eagle River Wisconsin, graduating Northland Pines High School in 1992., where I was very active in sports, music and theater. At the age of 18 years and 2 days, I left home on another adventure in the US Army. I studied Arabic language and culture at the Defense Language institute in Monterey California before joining the 101st Airborne Division as a Voice Interceptor and Arabic Translator. While assigned to the 101st, I spent 6 months working as a translator for the Liaison Section in the Sinai Peninsula of Egypt with the Multinational Force and Observers.
After being honorably discharged after 4 years in the Army, I attended St. Norbert College in De Pere for one year before realizing that the college path was not the one I wished to follow at that point in my life. So I relocated to Cape Coral, Florida and got a job working for a small software startup, and later for Sony Corporation.
But Wisconsin was, and always will be my home, so after 3 years in the Florida sun, I longed to return to a place where I could enjoy what our 4 seasons have to offer. Yes, I even love winter. I made De Pere my permanent home in 2002.
I met my wife Loretta and we were married in 2007, and was blessed with two lovely children, now aged 14 and 11. I continued to work in technology, eventually moving into a sales role. I returned to college at NWTC and studied Marketing and still continue to pursue a Bachelor's degree at UWGB, taking the long and winding road that so many adult learners travel.
After being laid off from a marketing position in 2009 by a local manufacturer that had been purchased by a foreign conglomerate, I formed my company Re-Serve Capacity and Supply, LLC. This gave me the freedom to stay home and raise our kids while still contributing to the family income. This July, my company acquired The Longbranch, a bar in West De Pere, and that is where you will find me today.
Along the way, I also served for 6 years on the De Pere City Council and have devoted countless hours to non-profit organizations, helping to raise millions of dollars for children, veterans and cancer related charities.
Now I am seeking your support to represent YOU in Madison. I hope to offer you an alternative to the broken 2 party system, and will fight for individual liberty and smaller government. My mantra is and will continue to be "Constituents, Constitution, Conscience." I will approach all issues with an open mind and with those three things as a compass to guide my decisions.
I am seeking your support, with your time, treasure, and most importantly, your vote. Together we can change the direction of our communities and the State of Wisconsin, and" secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity...".
